Kindergarten Teacher
JKCS is passionate about Christian education. We are looking for someone to join our Kindergarten team. A JKCS Teacher would join our staff as a part of a community passionate about Christian education and engaging with students in Junior and/or Senior Kindergarten

SSS Paraeducator
Student Support Services at John Knox Christian School is committed to supporting the School’s mission of igniting wonder for God, neighbour and creation. A JKCS Paraeducator would join our staff as a part of a community passionate about Christian education and engaging with students 1:1 and in small groups inside and outside classrooms.

Kindergarten ECE / EA
JKCS is passionate about Christian education. We are looking for someone to join our team who possesses an ECE degree or significant experience with kindergarten students.
Differentiation is our learning vision directed through the eyes of each child being uniquely created by God. Librarian
Librarian needed for John Knox Christian School - Oakville, Ontario

Main Duties:
- Give vision to the library in collaboration with the VP of Learning
- Organize and maintain two collaborative and flexible physical spaces
- Maintain a current, age-appropriate, appealing, and quality non-fiction book collection that supports the school’s curriculum.
- Provide a substantial collection of Christian fiction that appeals to all reading levels and interests.
- Provide a collection of quality secular fiction that encourages the enjoyment of reading and the use of imagination.
- Encourage students to develop and use evaluation skills to select research materials and pleasure reading.
- Ensure students have satisfactory library skills.
- Educate students in the use and evaluation of electronic information resources.
- Join the school staff team as a part of professional development, recess supervision, events, etc.
- Use the JKCS Library Manual to guide practices.
The successful applicant will be employed 3 days per week (60% position) from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Facilities Manager

- Manage daily maintenance and repair of the school facilities
- Oversee the safety of the facility and comply with the local regulations
- Co-ordinate preventative maintenance schedules
- Manage facility-related vendor relationships
- Ensure clean, safe, and welcoming learning spaces

- Manage rental of school facilities
- Manage rental supervisors
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of facilities management experience
